Split the Pot entry options — pot, draws, and how to enter
How it works

Four steps. Then it repeats.

  1. 01

    Supporters enter

One purchase, two choices: 1 or 3 lines, and 1, 5 or 10 draws. Card checkout on a phone — no paper books.

  2. 02

    Pot builds

The prize is a share of what was actually paid, spread across the draws those lines cover. Bundles don’t inflate the pot at face value.

  3. 03

    Draw runs

One winning line, on the cadence you set. Results go out with a graphic you can share.

  4. 04

    Club gets paid

Entry money lands in the club’s Stripe. Prize money stays with the club to pay out. OneShotClub never holds the pot.

Play with the numbers — no sign-up needed. Prize is a share of checkout, 50% in this picture. The rest after the prize is what the club keeps.

Who you're asking

A rough headcount of buyers, not a literal line count — some will take the 3-line pack or a 5- or 10-draw bundle, which is where the line total below comes from.

120 buyers → about 184 lines in a typical draw once bundle options are factored in. A conservative picture, not a promise.

How they're likely to buy
a realistic mix of both

A rough estimate, not a promise. Some supporters chase the biggest saving; others prefer a single ticket each time. Drag this to see which Est. mix column moves below.

Once-off entries take the remainder. Cost per line below includes bonus draws if auto-renew stays on — a what's-possible figure, not something that happens automatically. Live fundraisers start auto-renew off, with a nudge to turn it on.

Best deal for supporters right now: 3 lines · 10-draw (+2 free draws if auto-renew stays on) 37% cheaper per line than buying singles each draw.

Bonus draws apply while a bundle is set to auto-renew. A one-off bundle covers only the draws paid for.

Effort

Against a paper raffle

Same weekly draw. The work that used to sit on one volunteer sits on the product.

By handOn OneShotClub
  • Print, number and staple books

Share a link — or a QR on a poster

  • Hand books to sellers, chase the unsold

Sellers send the same link. Card money is already in.

  • Count stubs, bank the cash, argue over the float

Checkout totals are the draw. Stripe payouts weekly.

  • A drum in a hall, every week

Scheduled draws. One winner. Result graphic ready to post.

  • Start again next Friday

Bundles cover the next block. Auto-renew is a nudge, not a trap.

Day one

What you get to sell it

Placeholder pack — confirm against what OneShotClub can actually deliver before launch. The shapes below are the intent.

  • Poster

A4 with club crest, price, next draw and a QR to the entry page.

  • Email communication blast

Short copy a secretary can send to the club mailing list the night before a draw.

  • Social templates

Story and feed frames for “entries open” and “this week’s winner”.

  • Result graphics

Shareable winner card after each draw — name, amount, next draw date.

Same raffle. Less chase.
